Surfing South Padre Island
South Padre Island has with out doubt the best surfing conditions on the Texas Gulf Coast. Our island runs North to South with the prevailing wind direction being Southeast\Sideshore the strong Gulf winds create swells that wrap around our Jetties give us some a good right break. Three sandbars running parallel with the beach provides different breaks dependent on swell size.
